Business networking isn't really working, partly because its done badly partly because its just a system with nobody behind it, no leader no coordinator nothing. 12 million user of the linked in are completely useless for someone that looks for a job, information, or anything else for his business, simply because its users care only for the number of contacts they have.

Social networks are a game, however business network existed a long before the Internet was here (France still works this way). Friends in the right places can lead you to the right business. The idea is to share.

I am using business networks online for quite a long time, and I found that the leading network (Linkedin) is simply useless for doing business. Basically business networks supposed to work like in the outside world, practically they do not, there are a limited amount of people that really understand the concept of networking.

As networks are built from people then people should be behind it and people should lead it, most networks are just… systems. This is the reason I set up a new network to be able to connect all the people that ask my help (musicians, TV directors, IT experts, real estate and so on) to the right people, to make the right match.

Social Networking  is a game however very important for public relation, business networking is a matter of life and death (of a business/businessmen). But as people tend to compete (who have more contacts) they forget about the real purpose, i.e. to use these contacts smartly. To help a researcher find information, a real estate agent to find a good deal, a start-up company to find the right investor and so on.

So I am trying to change the world… I believe I can, after 25 years of learning the internet and 45 years of learning people.. I am sure I can.
