The French are not keen to making waves. The rather not fight and leave things the way they are the result is that they are screwed up all the times. Now they have a government that would like to change something but the public doesn't support it.

When the government declared their new pension reforms, they knew its not going to be easy but the numbers shows they must do it. The situation as it is now causing a damage to the French aconomy and the people that really pays for this are all the citizens. But the citizen doesn't care, the unions strikes and crippled all the country, there were demonstration that halted the heavy traffic (caused by the strike) everywhere in France. But nobody bother to orgenize a contra demonstration that support the government. The French was too busy dealing with the divorse of their president…

These reforms are important for the economy and for the citizens, and more then that, the fact that unions bring to halt a complete country is a shame ! The citizen must act, not for their own personal good but for the whole country, because if this rule of the unions will continue the life of the French will only get worse. and the economy which is already one of the regressive in Europe will deteriorate even more, and sonner or later, French people will have to immigrate to other, better places, where they can find jobs.

I have seen this, "Don't make waves" attitude everywhere in France, people do not really get angry they simply learned to live with what they are fed. Its your damn countr, you can make it function !
